Lead Vocalist

The bands vocalist Ryan hails from a small rural town in North Carolina. Growing up in a semi religious household, he was first introduced to gospel and choir music as young as 6 years old. As he grew up, he gained a love for modern rock music (Three Days Grace, Linkin Park, Breaking Benjamin, etc). During his freshman year of high school, he befriended one of the local metal artist and gained a love for different style of metal. His earliest influences are Whitechapel, Born Of Osiris, Suicide Silence; just to name a few. His senior year he decided to form a deathcore band Legion Of The Fallen. While this band never released any music, that didn’t stray him from continuing writing and crafting his vocals. After several years break from music to focus on gaining an education and building a family, he befriended a local legend and his colleague to form Necropotence. Loosely based from the popular trading game Magic The Gathering, these Walkers are ready to bring terror across the planes.

Brandon Small

Guitarist & Studio Bassist

Smalls is a metal guitarist from Cerro Gordo, NC. Much of his guitar influence has come from great players like John Petrucci, Alexi Laiho, Tyler Larson, Ola Englund, Dean Lamb to name a few. Playing music since the 6th grade so about 24 years by now and guitar in particular 20 years. He’s done the whole concert, jazz, and marching band thing in school. Since then as an adult he’s been a bedroom hobby guitarist. Done quite a few covers that you can find on his social’s. Started teaching guitar on the side a little.

“Now days I’m finally finding my creative side with the death metal band, Necropotence.” Long time buddy Kelly, messaged him about joining a death metal band. They had jammed right much back in the day. Even took a few music theory classes together at the local community college. To which of course, the answer was yes. Now here Necropotence is with their first EP about to drop, not even a year later.
